Parallel to the expo at Robinsons was an IP Policy Seminar-Workshop for University officials at the Silliman University College of Law, where he talked about the Overview of the Different IP Rights by citing real examples to illustrate the practical application of the IP Code. Peralta then went on to guide them on drafting their IP Policy that would hopefully lay down the rules and regulations that will govern technologies generated by their students and faculty. The resource speaker from Belgium, Dr. Marina Reimslagh, introduced the Psychological Kinesiology or PSYCH-K therapy model as a new approach in handling drug counseling cases in the Philippines. The PSYCH-K approach taps the person鈥檚 subconscious in eradicating the negative stressors related to the sensory signals received and felt by the individual, totally eliminating one鈥檚 lingering distress. To further understand this approach, Reimslagh conducted a sample case demonstration with the participation of Ms. Mary Rachelle Batanes from UE. Reimslagh also presented her book on the said approach titled 鈥�No Stress Today with PSYCH-K.鈥� With good results and feedback from individuals who had undergone PSYCH-K, Reimslagh hopes to bring the approach here in the Philippines to help with the current mental health issues in society.
