Mr. Ivan Neil Gomez from the Department of Occupational Therapy, Assoc. Prof. Donald S. Lipardo from the Department of Physical Therapy, and Ms. Joyce Anne P. Villafania from the Department of Speech-Language Pathology of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences were among the international circle of presentors at the 11th Pan-Pacific Conference on Rehabilitation (PPCR) held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Kowloon, Hong Kong, SAR China.
PPCR fosters interdisciplinary collaborations among rehabilitation professionals including academics, clinicians, students and healthcare administrators in the Asia Pacific region and beyond. The theme of the conference was 鈥淎dvances in Research and Practice.鈥�
Gomez gave an oral presentation on 鈥淧arasympathetic Resting State Differences between Children with and without ADHD,鈥� and presented two research posters on 鈥淯tilizing Neuroscience Evidence to Inform Research: A Reflective Inquiry鈥� and also on 鈥淏ehavioral and Physiological Adaptation in Children of Migrant Origins: A
Psychophysiological Study鈥� under the Pediatric Rehabilitation subtheme. Lipardo delivered a research poster presentation titled 鈥淎 Comparative Study on the Functional Abilities and Physiologic 六合彩直播开奖 of Community-Dwelling Older Adults with and without Mild Cognitive Impairment鈥� under the Geriatric Rehabilitation subtheme.
Villafania presented a research poster with the title 鈥淔easibility of Telerehabilitation in the Service Delivery of Speech-Language Pathology in the Philippines鈥� under the Basic Science and New Technology subtheme.
